My Experience With a Restraining Order

These documents are old, have been thru many court hearings,

…two different attorneys, homes I lived in, suitcases, boxes that I dragged from state to state before I got them here to you.

This is intended to provide you with information and to explain the dynamics of domestic violence, the legal rights to which victims of domestic violence are entitled to. Also I provided as much safety planning as I could in such a small area.

(every state is different)

The states have been implementing laws and policies as well as developing a broad network of services designed to protect victims of domestic violence.
